Just Garlic

]]> Stinking Rose is a famouse restaurant in San Francisco.
if you are a garlic lover, stinking rose is for you :-)
and if you are not, well... .

I really like the food and their weird appetizers, this one is
just garlic and olive oil. The combo doesn't sound so appetizing
but it was really good. Just dip a piece of bread into it and
mmmm..mmmmm.

]]> I was sitting on the floor and reading "Memoirs of a Geisha", after two or three pages I looked up and saw Jahanshah working on his new apple laptop like this!

I grabbed the camera and took a quick shot.
Can anybody beleive that he is the great editor of Iranian.com??

Bella is back

]]> A friend of us came back from Iran after almost 6 months.
We all got together today to welcome her back.
We ate and ate and ate!

Postman Pat

]]> All Iranians who grew up inside Iran in mid 80s would possibly remember the "Postman Pat".
This morning, Jahanshah and I drove to San Francisco. We were going towards a friend's house when I saw this car parked on the street.
"Maashineh Pat'eh Postchi!", postman Pat's car, I said.
I took a picture immidiately.
They don't look quite the same but still it reminds me of "Pat'eh Postchi".

Apple Martini

]]> I've recently realized that my favorite drink is apple martini :)
The bad side of the story is that only one glass of apple martini would make me tipsy .

Keeper, the Worst movie ever

]]> We saw "The keeper: Legend of Omar Khayyam" this evening.
it is directed by Kayvan Mashayekh a young Iranian-American
director.Omar, is his first long movie.
To be honest, I didn't like the movie at all. It was really BAD!
Beside the movie, we had so much fun. We ate at Jupiter with bunch of our friends and then head to Shattuck theaters right across the street.

For Ganji

]]> I came home after work, and saw a lit candle on Jahanshah's desk.
I wondered why he put a canlde on his desk!
"It's for Ganji" he said.

]]> It's me with the cutest girl in the world,1 month old Salma Sidney Goldbach.
While I was holding her I got so emotional, I couldn't stop crying.
I love her to death.
